December 2007: Jupiter/Pluto Conjunction

On December 11th, Jupiter and Pluto form a conjunction at 28 Sagittarius, kicking off another 13-year cycle of these 2 titans. This combination speaks of outrageous extremes, bold leaps, an almost cartoon-like adventure into what moves us most deeply. Like a gigantic brush painting on a most expansive canvas, Jupiter/Pluto whets the appetite while the eyes widen with savage intent. Everything is available!

In the gusto of living passionately full, the hazard is to make complete fools out of ourselves. Jupiter can unwisely amplify unconscious tendencies (Pluto) that are not yet understood or refined. The Emporer may be wearing nothing except a shit-eating grin, completely unaware that the fecal matter is all over him. Careful what you wish for! You may get it in heaps and realize you now need a good bath.

Occurring in policy-making Sagittarius, this conjunction heralds a new political time frame -- one that stems from big ideas, a zealous conviction that the world must change. Look for the boldest plans to gain the most traction. The spirit is to be unimpeded and powerful, "the only thing we have to fear is...fear itself." Is this a "change" election year? ABSOLUTELY.

The conjunction occurs before the massive 2008--2012 (and beyond) planetary clashing, almost as if it's the starting bell. As the Uranus/Saturn opposition is just starting to apply, the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction will alert the collective that it's now time to pay attention -- to arrive at clarity of what we want to create. Change will be arriving quickly these next few/several years, so this pivotal event asks us to set the wisest intentions, to be unlimited in scope, but honest and fierce about its application.
